Perception

One of my lecturers mentioned that our perception is our reality....hmmm how true..

We see things as we are, not as it is....which means that we allow ourselves to judge others while not taking any effort in getting to know things, people and etc....this goes back to the most fundamental reason which is that we just dont have the time to get to know people, things and whatever it is, therefore we rely on our own experience, stories from our friends and families in order to understand things and people...

as much as we despise those who judge others, we are subconsciously doing it....well, u and i will have to constantly remind ourselves not to make quick conclusions but rather see things as it is...dat is think about what will ALLAH think of us if we judge others with our limited minds...

in my lectures too, i constantly remind my students that it is unfair if we perceive others based on what and how we want to see things, therefore, it is of paramount importance to explore and search for information if we intend to talk about certain topic or matter....coz whatever we say and do...it reflects our personality...
