Epiphany of knowledge...

This is my marketing class. The majority of them are working adults and I must say I enjoy teaching them, this is due to the fact that they are very knowledgeable and confident people. I learn a lot from them too.

There's this thing about being a Lecturer, not only I learn to teach, most of the time I teach to learn. The synergy between my knowledge and their knowledge generate more knowledge. This is what I call the epiphany of knowledge.

Tergoda dengan handphone canggih SIII

Tidak aku sangka, aku jatuh tersungkur dek godaan handphone yang amat cerdik pandai ini. Mula-mula sekadar melirik-lirik apabila melalui kedai2 handphone di pusat membeli belah yang amat berdekatan dengan pejabatku...terdetik didalam hati mengapalah harganya tersangat mahal tapi jika diberi peluang, aku hendak membelinya juga :)

Tetapi apabila aku hendak membayar bil di kedai telekommunikasi di Subang Parade, aku tergoda dengan promosi handphone tersebut, sangat berpatutan dan aku rasa aku mampu untuk memilikinya...the rest is history... aku tersungkur lalu aku pun membelinya...

Tidak aku sangka angan-angan dua minggu lepas menjadi kenyataan. Sekarang apa yang aku harus lakukan? Simpan duitlah....ini kerana hari yang sungguh penting dalam hidup akan tiba....mak kata simpan duittttt!!!

Tapi memang puas hati, ini kerana aku memang mengidamkan hp yang mempunyai ciri2 yang aku mahukan..

Presentation Tips part 01

Contents

Remember the main mission of a presentation is to convey message and to convince audience on what you are presenting about.
 
 
A good set of slides would help as it gives the audience some basic idea on what you are talking about.

Body Language

1. Do not read from your notes. You may summarise in a piece of paper but please do not read the whole text.
 
2. Make eye contact with audience.
 
3. Please ensure that your voice is loud enough, remember not to be too loud.
 
4. Keep your presentation at a moderate pace, not too fast or too slow.

Marketing Class Presentation

One of the most important skills for graduates is to possess good presentation skills. The main mission of a presentation is to convince and subsequently to inspire audience to take action. Due to these reasons, I ensure that my students are well-exposed to the skills of presentation.

Throughout my years of lecturing and tutoring, I realised that the Presenter's ability in presenting is as important  as the contents of his or her presentation.

I could see major improvements in my students presentations. I constantly remind my students that in polishing this skill, it requires continuous effort and time.

In the above picture, the presentation revolved around the topic of Marketing. Also, it could be seen that those students of mine were very satisfied and relieved as they knew they have presented well.
